‘History Detectives’ includes visit to Kalona
A Public Television viewer of “History Detectives” inherited a cane she believes belonged to her great-great grandfather, Henry Clay Dean, famous for his protests against the Civil War. A bronze or copper snake coils elegantly at the top of the striking cane.
